2023 endMS Meeting

Dr George Robertson and trainee, Gracious Kasheke attended the recent endMS conference in Toronto, where Gracious presented a poster. This is the 6th endMS Conference – the largest scientific meeting focused on multiple sclerosis (MS) in Canada.

The endMS Conference highlighted MS research that is providing a better understanding of disease mechanisms, potential new treatments, and other emerging research.

Gracious is a fourth year doctoral student in the Department of Pharmacology at Dalhousie University, and his supervisor, Dr. George S. Robertson, a Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Pharmacology at Dalhousie University, are shown in front of their poster at this meeting.

This poster described recent findings from their innovative research on a novel intranasal drug formulation designed to promote brain repair in common neurodegenerative and psychiatric disorders. This work is funded by the MS Society of Canada and Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (US Army) as well as the Brain Repair Centre Knowledge Translation Program and Department of Psychiatry Research Fund at Dalhousie University.
