BRC Research Day Review

On Thursday, February 29th, the Brain Repair Centre hosted its annual BRC Research Day, a vibrant showcase of brainpower and innovation. Bringing together students, researchers, professors, and brain enthusiasts, the event was packed with neuron-nourishing discussions.

The day kicked off with presentations from professors and Ph.D. candidates, delving into the latest breakthroughs in brain research. From unraveling the intricacies of the mind to tackling brain-related disorders, each talk offered a glimpse into the world of neuroscience. From psychiatry to neuropharmacology, the breadth of research left many in awe of the brain's complexity. Dr. Hannah says, "I'm fascinated by the collaboration between departments. The research here has strong clinical components, and it's amazing to witness the way science is informing medicine and how medicine is informing science."
