NSERC awards $185,833 to BRC members

Congratulations to BRC members Steven Beyea, John Frampton, Janie Wilson and Ying Zhang, who recently received funding from Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC). Each of them were awarded an Individual Discovery Grant for the following projects:

  • Dr Beyea: Technologies for Task-Specific Objective Optimization of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Acquisition and 

  • Dr. Johnston: Towards a better understanding of Twist2+ myogenic progenitors within human skeletal muscle

  • Dr. Frampton: Multiscale Assembly of Soft Biomaterials

  • Dr. Zhang: The segmental diversity of interneurons in the mouse spinal cord
