Publication News: Johnston Lab

Dr. Adam Johnston is a recent transplant from UPEI to Dalhousie. He and his trainees have been regular attendees at the AMAP annual meetings, so they are no strangers to the BRC!

Johnston and trainee Griffen Wakelin are now located at Dalhousie, and are two of the authors on a paper recently published in FASEB (Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology), which is based on research conducted at UPEI.

The paper is titled “Muscle injury induces a transient senescence-like state that is required for myofiber growth during muscle regeneration” and can be viewed here.
