BioNova is thrilled to be celebrating 12 years of Atlantic Canadian Health and Life Sciences innovation with the launch of the BioInnovation Challenge (BIC). BIC provides early-stage Health and Life Sciences companies across the Atlantic region a chance to compete for a $55,000 prize package to develop their business idea during BioPort 2022, held at Pier 21 in Halifax on November 2 & 3, 2022.

Why apply?
In addition to the grand prize and business development training, BIC connects participants to potential partners, investors, key government contacts, and other influential people in the industry. The BIC semi-finalists also receive pitch training from expert pitch training coach Linda Plano.

BioNova will accept applications until August 5, 2022.

LIVE Pitch Event Dates
There will be a FREE public livestream of the BIC Semi-finals on November 1, 2022 (2 p.m. to 5 p.m. ADT). Registration for BioPort 2022 is required to access the BIC Finals in-person on November 3, 2022 (10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. ADT). The winner will be announced on the final day of BioPort (November 3) at 4 p.m. ADT.
