2022 BRC/DMRF Graduate Studentships

The Brain Repair Centre is delighted to announce the winners of the 2022 DMRF Graduate Studentships for Medical Neuroscience Research for BRC trainees. Five trainees were awarded a two-year stipend of $20,000.

The aim of these studentships is to support trainees in the Brain Repair Centre in pursuit of a MSc or PhD degree, whose research falls under the umbrella of neuroscience. Candidates were required to show high potential for future research achievement and productivity.

The winners of the 2022 competition were:

  • Jessica Garden - Masters in Psychology and Neuroscience, supervised by Dr. Ian Weaver & Dr. Richard Brown 

  • Colin MacKay - Masters in Medical Neuroscience, supervised by Dr. Ying Zhang 

  • Daniel Godfrey - Masters in Experimental Psychology and Neuroscience, supervised by Dr. Aaron Newman 

  • Jack Solomon - PhD in Psychology & Neuroscience, supervised by Dr. Shaun Boe 

  • Danielle Stanton-Turcotte - PhD in Medical Neuroscience, supervised by Dr. Angelo Iulianella
